We began our summer road trips at the world renowned destination, Byron Bay. With this being our first visit to the famous beach location, there were a lot of expectations to fill.
Upon our arrival, we were met with a weather forecast of rain for the next three days! Unfortunately our plans of bathing up sun rays and exploring the famous coastline were put on hiatus.
Luckily a thought sparked in my mind to look up this place I kept seeing social media stars tag in their photos, The Farm.
With a name so broad, the list of possibilities were building of what The Farm could be, so I did a little researching.
I found their website and suddenly fell in love with their ideals and practices on their farm. It is a fully functioning farm with roaming animals and acres of fresh produce all working together to service their on site businesses.
It was exactly the opposite of my day dreams of sandy bums and barrelling waves, but it was the perfect spot to visit before the rain set in later that day.
We ventured over to the farm around 9am and to my surprise the place was completely packed! Cars filled the parking lot and plenty of happy patrons dressed the dining tables of on site cafe and restaurant Three Blue Ducks.
We grabbed some coffee’s to go and the exploring started at the popular farm.
