We had the privilege of going to a special event curated for the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, Eco Threads – Rags to Runway.
Eco Threads was a great event combining sustainable fashion and music produced by Kangan Institute design students.
The students joined arms with the Redcross to make incredible designs from up cycling clothing their found at the op shops. I was in awe of all of the beautiful clothing that was created to hit the eco green runway.
Australian band, Stonefield was also involved in the collaboration, being dressed by the students for their performance and further taking their designs on tour to promote sustainable fashion.
Find out more in our insider video as we watched the show front row and interviewed the director of Kangan and members from Stonefield.
Special thanks to Hyunji Park for helping out with videoing 🙂
